This new Department of Enterprise Services website represents an agency that has evolved considerably since its inception a little over a year ago. It serves as a single point of access to all of our services, which had previously been spread across multiple websites.
This site combines content from the state agencies that were consolidated to create Enterprise Services in October 2011. It includes content from the former departments of General Administration (ga.wa.gov), Information Services (dis.wa.gov), Printing (prt.wa.gov) and portions of the Office of Financial Management (ofm.wa.gov).
While the site also provides access to HR-related information that came from the former Department of Personnel (dop.wa.gov), Enterprise Services in partnering with the Office of the State Human Resources Director to support the State HR site at hr.wa.gov as a central point for state HR and payroll information.
In developing this new website, we worked with hundreds of representatives of our broad customer base, including state agencies, vendors, business groups and local governments, among others, to create a website that would be easy to use and would provide the information you need.
“This new website reflects the work that has been accomplished over the past year to consolidate all or part of five agencies into one,” said Director Joyce Turner. “As with all of our services, we will continue to seek improvements so our customers can find the information they need quickly and efficiently.”
