Enterprise Reporting supports the different reporting needs for the State of Washington using SAP Business Objects and SAP Business Explorer (BEx). Enterprise Reporting is focused on providing integrated reporting platforms, tools and support to enable customers to maximize the use of enterprise data.
This integrated reporting platform:
- Provides a set of tools that enable self-service reporting, ad-hoc query, analysis, and access to statewide information.
- Enables agencies to access, customize, run, email and download reports/queries via the Intranet and Internet.
- Provides information for a number of Enterprise Services applications and data sources.
Reporting Platforms/Tools
Enterprise Reporting currently supports the following reporting platforms/tools:
SAP Business Objects - The SAP Business Objects platform provides access to a variety of data sources via Crystal Reports and Web Intelligence ad-hoc reporting.
SAP Dashboarding - The SAP Dashboard Design/Xcelsius is a data visualization tool that enables customers to integrate information from multiple data sources or consolidated views of key metrics into a unified display as dynamic and interactive dashboards, charts and graphics. Customers can use this data to answer business questions with what-if scenarios and other visual components for making informed decisions.
SAP NetWeaver Portal - The SAP NetWeaver platform provides access to the HRMS Business Warehouse/Business Intelligence custom reports via the HRMS Portal. It also enables the Power Users to develop ad hoc queries using SAP GUI and the suite of Business Explorer (BEx) tools.
