Scope and Impact: Heritage Park restrooms will be closed to allow the City of Olympia to complete emergency repair work on a catch basin. The intersection of Water and Legion streets also will be closed during work hours with a detour route in place.

Where: Heritage Park. Other Capitol Campus restrooms remain available at Marathon Park, the Interpretive Center, on East Plaza and in the Legislative Building.

When: Restroom closure is Friday, Jul. 29, through Thursday, Aug. 4. Street intersection closure is Monday, Aug. 1, to Thursday, Aug. 4.

Why: To prevent sewage back-ups into the facilities, which have been occurring intermittently over the past two weeks.
