Enterprise Services ready to respond to potential storm damage

As a series of major storm systems blasts the Pacific Northwest, the Department of Enterprise Services stands prepared to respond to potential power outages, downed trees and other storm-related effects to the Capitol Campus in Olympia and other state facilities the agency manages.

According to the National Weather Service, the strongest storm system – with wind gusts up to 65 mph possible – is forecast for Saturday afternoon into Sunday with the strongest winds possible on Saturday night. Early Sunday, after the storm passes, Enterprise Services crews will assess state facilities on the Capitol Campus, in Tumwater and department locations elsewhere in Olympia to identify possible damage and repairs.

Crews will also work to remove any downed trees on the campus as result of the storms.

If you encounter storm-related damage on the campus, please call the Enterprise Services 24-hour contact line at (360) 725-0000.
