The Plaza Garage enhancement project to increase parking and improve navigation continues. This week, work crews will begin evening work restriping the C, B, and A level of the garage. The work is expected to be complete by the end of December.

As the work progresses, employees who use the garage are noticing some changes:

The work is taking place between 8 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on weekends.

Understandably, the work is having an impact on parkers. It is the largest renovation project the Plaza Garage has undergone in 45 years. Plaza Garage parkers and any other interested parties are invited to a presentation and question and answer session on Monday, Oct. 31, 9-10 a.m., in the DSHS Auditorium.

Additionally, DES staff are on hand during business hours to answer questions and address employee concerns. Contact information is listed below. Email updates will be sent to Plaza Garage parkers on a weekly basis until further notice. Monday’s presentation will also be posted on the DES website.
