Giving and Receiving Feedback Workshop (1/2 Day)


Even the most experienced manager can struggle with the art of sharing - and receiving - suggestions for improvement. Giving and Receiving Feedback helps you with just that!

The ability to both give and to receive feedback is a critical skill – whether providing feedback one-on-one, in a leadership context, in a meeting, or in a coaching session. This session will provide employees and managers with strategies and tools to effectively give and receive feedback in a respectful, productive way. Participants will learn simple, intuitive ways to make lasting improvements in their ability to communicate as they learn why feedback is so important, the many work situations where feedback is provided, and practical ways to both give as well as receive feedback. Participants will leave the session with tangible communication tools with which to better communicate to others in a respectful and engaging manner.

Performance Objectives: Upon completion of this course you should be able to:

  • Discover many opportunities where feedback is a critical part of work performance
  • Understand the value of receiving feedback
  • Apply the concepts of both giving and receiving feedback in real life situations
  • Recognize the value of helping to build a culture of feedback
