March for Life

Thousands expected at Capitol Monday, Jan. 22

The Department of Enterprise Services has issued a permit for the 2018 March for Life rally. The rally is scheduled from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 22, on the north steps of the Legislative Building.

Rally organizers estimate that 5,000 people will attend the event this year, which will affect traffic and parking on the west Capitol Campus. March for Life participants will initially gather near the Winged Victory Monument, the statue in the traffic circle near the Legislative Building, and then march to the north steps.

The North Parking Diagonal will be closed during the event to accommodate bus parking.

A complete list of upcoming permitted campus events is available on the Enterprise Services website.
