Tree treatments to take place on Capitol Campus March 2

Treatments to improve tree health will take place in two Capitol Campus locations Friday, March 2. Work will begin at 8 a.m.

The Bush butternut tree, located near the World War II memorial, will be treated for mites.

Kwanzan cherry trees on both sides of Cherry Lane, located to the east of the Legislative Building, will be treated for root rot. Nutrients also will be added to the trees’ soil.

The treatments will be conducted by contractor Wolbert's Inc. Plant Essentials.
