According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, job stress poses a threat to the health of workers and organizations. Managing stress is essential to your work life and emotional well-being. This course helps you reduce and effectively manage the negative effects of job stress. You will learn how to identify stress factors and work through conditions that cause anxiety and tension.

Performance Objectives: Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:

  • Identify stress factors in terms of clarity, choice, control, conditioning, and confidence.
  • Recognize stress avoidance strategies for yourself and others.
  • Use techniques to increase your job satisfaction.

Sales Tax Notice: Effective October 1, 2025 
In accordance with Washington State law (ESSB 5814), sales tax will be applied to all training services. In addition to the course cost, sales tax will be calculated based on your agency's location and added to your final invoice after the class is completed.
