This course helps you develop the skills needed to become a Crucial Conversations® trainer. Through a highly interactive classroom experience, you will enhance your knowledge of the Crucial Conversations® content and acquire advanced skills for delivering the training. The goal of this course is to equip trainers with effective techniques to facilitating participant learning and skill application.

Performance Objectives: Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:

• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Crucial Conversations®concepts and how to translate those concepts to others in an approachable and understandable manner.
• Assess students’ current level of knowledge and exposure to the topics and connect course concepts to prior knowledge.
• Manage and guide classroom discussions and encourage active student engagement.
• Manage curriculum timelines to ensure appropriate allocation of activities, lecture, and reflection.
• Create an inviting and safe classroom for participants.
• Initiate and supervise activities for students to explore and practice skills shared in the course.
• Navigate difficult topics with a variety of students in a way that encourages participation and supports effective communication.
• Assist students in applying the skills learned to their everyday personal and professional life.

Prerequisite: You must have attended the Crucial Conversations for Mastering Dialogue course. You will need to bring your Crucial Conversations for Mastering Dialogue materials to this class.
