New lights installed in Columbia Street garage Nov. 10-12

OLYMPIA — The contractor installing new energy-efficient, white-light LED fixtures in all Capitol Campus parking garages will be working in the Columbia Street parking garage from 7 a.m. on Nov. 10 until 5 p.m. on Nov. 12.
If the contractor – The McKinstry Company – finishes early in the Columbia Street garage, they will begin installing the lights in the General Administration (GA) Building parking garage that weekend. The work in the GA garage will be completed on Nov. 17.
Drivers are urged to avoid parking in these garages while the work is underway. However, if you must park there, you are advised to not leave your vehicle directly beneath a light fixture.
