New Capitol Campus emergency notification system

OLYMPIA - The way people receive emergency alerts for the Capitol Campus has changed. Migration from the GovDelivery platform to WA Agency Alerts is complete. All future Capitol Campus emergency alerts will occur through WA Agency Alerts. If you wish to continue receiving Capitol Campus emergency alerts, please take the following actions:

Members of the public, contractors and state employees who do not work on the campus are encouraged to sign up for emergency text alerts:

  • Text CAMPUSALERT to 888-777 to receive alerts on an ongoing basis. This a good option for campus neighbors as well as people who visit frequently.
  • Text CAMPUSGUEST to 888-777 to receive alerts for one week. This option is meant for one-time or infrequent visitors to the Capitol Campus who do not want to receive alerts on an ongoing basis.

State employees who have a duty station on the Capitol Campus will determine how they receive communications from WA Agency Alerts via the Everbridge platform:

If your official duty station is on the campus, and you have not yet logged into the system, please use these instructions to ensure you receive timely emergency notification alerts. Even if you are teleworking, the best time to take action is now. That way when you return to campus you will receive emergency notifications in the fastest, most effective way. Setting your communication preferences for the Everbridge App and text messages are the most effective way to receive timely messages.
